INEJ is a women’s clothing house rooted in South Asian craftsmanship, refined design, and the belief that beautiful clothing should feel as good as it looks.
Our story began with a family connection to embroidery, textiles, and the skilled hands behind them. Over three generations, we have learned to appreciate what true craftsmanship requires: patience, precision, and an eye for detail.
INEJ was created to bring that appreciation into the way women dress today.
Traditional craft, reinterpreted for the modern woman.
WHERE IT BEGAN
INEJ began in Lahore, Pakistan — a city shaped by art, textiles, architecture, and generations of craftsmanship.
Our relationship with craft started within our family. It taught us that the difference between something ordinary and something special often comes down to the details most people don't notice at first.
A stitch placed carefully.
A fabric chosen for how it falls.
An embroidery colour adjusted until it feels right.
That became the foundation of INEJ.
We take inspiration from the traditions around us, then reinterpret them through contemporary silhouettes, thoughtful details, and pieces designed to be worn today.
THE CRAFT BEHIND INEJ
Craft is not an addition to our designs.
It is where they begin.
Our pieces incorporate techniques such as:
Zardozi
Intricate metallic embroidery that creates depth, texture, and richness.
Gota Patti
Hand-applied metallic detailing used to frame and accent the design.
Mirror Work
Individual mirrors placed into the fabric to catch light with movement.
Hand Embroidery & Sequin Work
Carefully arranged motifs and details that add dimension without overpowering the garment.
We also pay close attention to the fabrics that carry this work — choosing materials for their feel, movement, and ability to hold embroidery beautifully.
Because the fabric and the craftsmanship should work together.
DESIGNED FOR HER

GETTING IT RIGHT
We don't believe a design is finished simply because it looks good on paper.
We look at the complete piece — the fabric, colour, embroidery, proportion, finishing, and how everything comes together when worn.
Sometimes we change a colour.
Sometimes we reduce an embroidery.
Sometimes we go back and start again.
That's part of our process.
Because we would rather refine a piece than release something we don't believe in.
